Happy again

a poem by

My throat constricts
As I remember all those times
You said you loved me
In elaborate poems and rhymes
What happened then?
What transpired in between?
Did you get bored and move on
Or did those promises nothing mean?
I’m sitting alone here now
Staring into the dark
Trying to put together pieces of me
Where you’d once left your mark
I wonder what I did wrong
Where did I falter
But what’s the point now
It all doesn’t matter
All that matters now
Is that you broke my heart
Knowing very well
It had already once been torn apart
So here’s my goodbye
Although you’re already long gone
I don’t wish you happiness
Nor that you get all that you want
How a disease is eradicated
I want to be rid of you too
I want to be happy again
And happy again without you

My heart is broken

a poem by

My heart is broken into a million pieces,
I don’t care for sun and beaches.
In garden scourged by Lord’s curses,
Who looks to find ruddy roses?

My heart is broken,
my heart is broken,
my heart is broken,
my heart is broken.

Take away your paradise,
I find in it no delight.
Give it to someone better,
why throw it on a loosened kite?

My heart is broken,
my heart is broken,
my heart is broken,
my heart is broken.

You savor your precious nectar,
while I spill dew of my eyes.
You go mingle with the happy crowd,
while I drown in my sighs.

My heart is broken,
my heart is broken,
my heart is broken,
my heart is broken.

You go build your Eden Garden
on a new blessed ground.
Why rebuild the fallen ruins
where curses have made a mound?

My heart is broken,
my heart is broken,
my heart is broken,
my heart is broken.

You go find a better haven
to lay in your sweet desires.
Why burn them in the name of friendship
on my heart’s wretched pyre?

My heart is broken into a million pieces,
I don’t care for sun and beaches.
In garden scourged by Lord’s curses,
who looks to find ruddy roses?

My heart is broken,
my heart is broken,
my heart is broken,
my heart is broken.

My Pains and Sorrows!

a poem by

Oh Alas! Crippled with a broken heart no one to love
The pain struck into the body with a giant blow
Your love for me was the only healer
But knowing not the truth you left me
With a heart already broken long ago
And now broken into pieces by you
Leaving me all alone with my pains and sorrows

Bedtime Story

a poem by

Read me a story
Grasp me in tight
Recall your bedtime luxuries
That befall be a Goodnight.
I’m still waiting…
Tell me a bedtime story.

Once upon a time
After every appetizing dine
Was rather really absurd
Though a worthy comfort.
Fairies, monsters, laugh and disasters
Ceasing tales at happily ever after.
Horror, comic, some science fiction,
Still bliss was defended in every section.
Quality moment with mother
Pretending to make a toast together.
Widely optimistic father, Oh father!!!
His opinions, my denial, my screams and laughter.

Can someone hear my voice?
Older days, neoteric rejoice.
Apprise me again of delight and bright
Just call upon that sterling Goodnight.
I’m still waiting…
Tell me a bedtime story.

Pieces of broken Mirror

a poem by

I always loved to view myself in mirror
Mirror of someone’s heart
The smile and affection what you show
Is reflected to you
I looked into a mirror
Awaiting my image to be seen
Seconds passed, hours passed, days passed and years passed too
But I never found my image
At a proper glance, I found that
I was looking into pieces of broken mirror…

Leaf

a poem by

Frozen leaves
Bear the marks
Of betrayal

A toss
Between
Heaven and earth
Counts down
An oscillated life

Tonight
At my doorsteps
Frayed and frozen
A leaf takes its last breath
‘Dear, forgive me’

Sorrow of the Soul

a poem by

Screaming innocence, weeping motherhood
Barking barbarians, dying humanity
Oh Lord! Break your silence
Demolish the pyramid of blind faith
Destruct the world with gigantic waves
Let the sun rays never touch the earth

Moonlit night, dazzling stars
Roaring waves, blasting sound
Pale eyes, colorless dreams
Oh Lord! Let’s finish all the lessons

Sunny Morning , singing birds
Stepping to the world of wisdom
Gathering to celebrate a day
Beautiful sights, but suspicious clouds
Setting Sun in the middle of the day

Oh Lord! Unborn dreams , unread letters
Everything we left while dreaming
Everything we left while reading
Everything we left while sharing

Courageous numpty armed, exploding themselves
Ruin the entire world with the gun of shattered thoughts
Bloodstained footsteps, cluttered classrooms
And cut down budding innocent smiles

It was the heaven where we lived with beloved parents
It was the heaven where we were with our masters
It was the heaven where we spent precious moments with kinship
It was the heaven where we could meet illustrious people

Oh Lord! Please don’t give us a second birth
Since You made us helpless creatures
Please don’t give them a second chance
Since You made them merciless creatures

Oh Lord! Flying to the empty space ,
Hoping to the world of peace
Kissing the womb of mother,
Hoping she gets the warmth

Dilemma of Eternity

a poem by

Rising Sun is shadow of truth,
Selfless devotion to humankind!
Human trapped in lust and mirth
With will enormous and path so blind.

With service, the Sun rises;
And serving sinks in ‘Ocean’.
Guns and cannons roar as their prizes
Of eternal walks to unfathomed ‘Horizon’.

After rain, selflessly he shines
Giving their carcasses some warmth;
Busy are their hands – drawing new lines
Of gloom, sorrows, death and the Holy wrath!

Eternal Sun rises, shines and sinks
With hope that tomorrow is someday new…

Wreath

a poem by

I lie on a mound earth
Ebb of agony swells my consciousness

In the mist of farce
figures fade out

Innocence of paper boats
drowns in the floods of tears

A rainbow ascends mourning
the lost kiss of little feet on its hunch

Butterflies flutter into the crevices of oblivion
ignoring the touch of little fingers

Forlorn and forsaken
I lie on a mound of earth

Rain seeks pores on my body
