Pandemic Thoughts

a poem by Mohanan

Lores of man still yearns,
Yearns for nooks of light and gleams
Falling like downs from the deeper ins
A wail incessant for a soothing rain

Lofty soars the cries,
Cries of perennial queries and incertitude
For thoughts pandemic, streaming up
Like dizzy fleet of roaring clouds

Love and care passes man
Heavy blames like curses befall
On every supreme creature of His
Frets and fears reign the world

And Mighty winds do scare the earth
With pollen lethal to helpless beings
On planes of heart and plains of hearth
Wielding the sword high- Covid-19
