Open your mind

a poem by Harsha Priya

What have I pestered you for, diamond or gold?
Just wished you should stand by me uninfluenced and bold.

How long do you want to stay blind?
In that unfair dark world that is to stab you from behind.

Break down the shackles of your delusion
Try to perceive the purity of truth instead of pointing at its quality of insurrection.

Let go of me if you are to make a choice.
But before you judge, make sure you listen to your inner voice.
