The Unbreakable

a poem by Suvarnag Rani Gandham

No! No! No!
You can’t break me, who ever you are!
Yes- Even if all of you join- join together.
And try continuous onslaught on me,
You can’t break me, my spirit.
My spirit- It is rejuvenating all the more.
It is soaring much higher.
It is burning with renewed fire,
The more you try to crack me, the more it soars.
You don’t know where I get my strength.
I get it from everywhere, from you even!
The more you crush me, the greater is my rise.
I can assemble and reassemble my self,
From the broken pieces.
And. Look I re-emerge as giant.
You do not know that I am a generator,
To generate energy for me and for the whole universe.
I can annihilate you for ever.
But yet I let you live, to let you challenge me.
I nurture myself, I shield myself.
I fence myself- You can never devour me.
