Justice

a poem by Sreepada Swati

A blue infant
Deprived of food and air
Suffocates in the grip of power.
On and off the life in it moves
Heaving its ribs and lolling,
Still it fights ceaselessly.
A GLINT of hope flickers in its eyes.
Now and then a cup of mercy juice keeps it alive
Its in need of a drip
A DRIP OF asurance,
A drip of sincerity and truth
A NOURISHMENT of non-violence
Its DYING amidst ourselves
Lets all resolve to save it and save ourselves
Its not an ordinary child,
Its JUSTICE,a part of every ones life
A transfusion of warm blood of.
