Shall I compare Thee

a poem by Shellwin L

Shall I compare thee to a star,
No my dear, because it shines only from afar.

Shall I compare thee to a flower,
No my dear, because when plucked it doesn’t even stay for an hour.

Shall I compare thee to birds that fly in the sky,
No my dear, because they keep always soaring high.

Shall I compare thee to a moonlight,
No my dear, because it shines only at night.

So, To whom shall I compare thee,
To no one, but accept you as a part of me.
