Waiting for a change

a poem by Magi

I was sitting in Buddhist temple praying for world peace.
Every day was a hell,
each day was like moving from fire to fire.
No one stopped for the other,
none did even bother,
everyone was hurrying.
Some pushing and some pulling
many still starving,
many eating with no work.
Men committing suicide,
women waiting for their liberty
bad politics,
bad socialism,
bad vision,
cheating,
bullying,
fighting,
frustration,
hammering,
crying,
everyone is waiting for day of peace.
I saw all this,
but what could I ever do.
I could only pray for this world
people should change,
not fight for a change.
