Seasons

a poem by Lathika

Season of innocence
had only eyes
silver and grey
nothing else.
Oh wealth and name
damn damn.
Then another shore
Another goal
The guilt of
an occasional tear.
No more.
Now bereft
In autumn
Bought new leaves
stay
The decayed roots
earth betray,
the eternal way.
So move on… live
And then… forgive.
