Little Things

a poem by Lakhmeet

Little things, they are neglected freely,
But devoid them your life is disorderly.
You care not and consider them small,
But afterwards they confront like walls.
For foremost work today, their surfeit is put aside,
Although we know their significance, and it is our future they decide.
So next time, when your friend says,
“Hey leave those minors for a couple of days”.
Don’t sit gazed and nod in approval,
Retort, “It’s time for your old thoughts removal”.
