The finding of…

a poem by

Kreg

Falling, falling deeper and deeper
Grasping, grasping at the air
Rushing beside you, air
Inhale exhale, inhale exhale
How many more times, anymore?
Is this the last?
Is this the first?
Escape, escape is it feasible?
Falling, crushing, lungs, dying
The light so bright, so shinning
Is this the end, is this heaven?
Or am I asleep from the
Hours of falling, dying, grasping

Falling, falling lower and lower
Gasping, gasping for the air
Rushing beside you, air
Inhale, pain, fire, rot
Exhale, hurt, burn, cold
Is that the last?
No one more time?
The light has failed
Darkness, blindness, ending?
How can this be?
This is not the ending
Wasted time during the
Hours of falling, dying, gasping

The light has relit
A match thrown upon a torch
Flaming, higher, bright, better
With each layer it burns away
Brighter, no longer dimming
This is not the end
This is the new beginning
This is the end of the old
Waking, realizing, piecing together
This puzzle of confusion
This mass of jumbled objects
To be sorted, arranged, organized
No longer to fail or let down.

Tomorrow

a poem by

Kreg

Never say, never say that you’ll do it Tomorrow
Cause Tomorrow you’ll say I wish I’d done it yesterday
Never say, never say I’ll tell you Tomorrow
Cause Tomorrow you’ll forget what to say
Never say, never say that you’ll ask Tomorrow
Cause Tomorrow it’ll be too late
Never say, never say that Tomorrow is a better day
Cause Tomorrow may just fly away

I waited to long to tell you
So now I just gotta wait for my next chance
Maybe I was Smart
Maybe I was a Fool
But now I’m Dying along with my Heart
Why couldn’t I just say what I thought?
Why did I just sit there on my stool?
Why couldn’t I ask when I could’ve?

Even though I passed my chance
I will fight with sword or lance
To win you to my side
So now I won’t have to hide
I’m Sick of this I’m Sick of that
But what I really hate is seeing you with him
It’s welling up inside
It’s stinging deep within

Maybe I won’t get a second chance
Maybe I won’t need to fight with sword or lance
But I know that one day I’ll tell you
That you were the prettiest of them all
You were by far the most Beautiful girl I ever saw

What is love?

a poem by

Kreg

One day a young man walked her way
He didn’t know he wouldn’t ever get away
He asked her if she knew the answer to his question
She said she was the answer no objection
He thought she was so beautiful
They talked about everything including the human soul
He laughed at her jokes and sarcasm
She liked his thoughts and mannerism
They enjoyed each others company
Then this serpent came and tore their harmony
She left with the serpent
But he stayed behind instead of to resent
She died that very day
The serpent killed her without dismay
The man was sad he knew she was the only one like her
The only one so beautiful
The only one so charming
But he also knew he had to move forward
But he stayed behind like in the beginning
He knew that his heart couldn’t afford
To be broken like that again
