Separate

a poem by

Jennifer

We were a wall, nobody could destroy us.
We helped each other.
But now we are separate,
and most of the people don’t want to know
anything about the rest of them.
Tears run down my cheeks,
whenever I think about the beautiful
times that we had together.
I can’t tell you how much I miss you and
how much I would give,
to see you all again.
