Unemployment

a poem by Hariharan Vedamurthy

Under the Sun, strolls through – a
nomad without a break-through
endless efforts and hard work he puts though
mindlessly traverses places with no clue
pledges his happiness and freedom for – the
loneliness and dejection that never seems far
on his search for freedom, of every hour,
yields only distress, an unhealing scar
mind and his body had begun so weak
endless meekness, nothing else he c’ld seek – but
never gives-up his hope and courage to speak
till his ambitions achieved and attains the peak.
