Treason

a poem by

Earth

The summer in bloom,
The vague sunlight,
A creeper looms,
Into the night,
The leaves of fall,
That grace the sin,
But the branch it seems,
Is lost within,
The myriad of spring,
Brushing past the sky,
Alluring even the immortal… to wonder why?
The calm of winter,
Seems to cover it all,
The biting wind,
The lazy drawl,
Each one of them,is a friend to me,
Binding me down,
When I crave to be free…
