Beauty

a poem by Dimple

The fair complexion
The striking features
The lake-deep eyes
The arched brows
The bangles-decked hands
The lotus-toed feet
The lyrical voice
The killing look
Is what beauty is for you

The hands extended to help
The eyes full of compassion
The feet braving all odds
The voice raised for the needy
The heart of gold
Be it within rags
The hidden sentiments, emotions
The caring feeling
The concerned look
The spirit of sacrifice
All beneath a
Simple, loving exterior
A place in every heart
Is what beauty is for me.
