To feel home…

a poem by Bobette Bruwer

For I cry not for want I had lost,
but for what I will never have.
Each morning and each night I mourn
for what I will never feel.

For how can you loose something
if you never had it?

I mourn because I will not find my need
in the place I was supposed to.
Now I must seek it elsewhere,
I’ll search the world.
