Freedom

a poem by Abhishek Chauhan

As I was just walking ’round the town,
I saw the children crying naked on the ground.
With no hope, sight or any future,
To break them free from their spells.
And when I looked into their faces
I tried to hide away my eyes.
Cause I still haven’t found out the answers
To the questions that they ask…

Yeah! Where’s our freedom?
Where’s our love?
When will we be the children,
Who will be carried by the Doves…
Yeah! Where’s our freedom??

Now as I sit back and I look around,
I see the consequences of our minds.
We’ve robbed them of their childhoods,
With no one willing to take the blame.
Are we all INSANE???
But when they look me right in my eyes,
I begin to get my sleepless nights.
With dreams full of many questions,
Lord!! Unanswered Questions!!

Yeah! Where’s our freedom?
Where’s our love?
When will we be the children,
Who will be carried by the Doves…
Yeah! Our freedom??
The long lost love…
Yeah!! Our freedom!!!!

They’ve seen this place in their dreams,
With candy canes hanging down the trees.
Toy train’s leaving from the station next door.
Lets wake up and give them their new hopes.

Yeah! Where’s our freedom?
Where’s our love?
When will we be the children,
Who will be carried by the Doves…
Yeah! Our freedom??
The long lost love…
Yeah!! Our freedom!!!!

NovocaiN

a poem by Abhishek Chauhan

Here’s me, the one more you,
although you may let go,
but I’d still haunt you.
So now you are mad at me,
finding ways to wish away,
but friend I’d still devour you…

I’m the dream that you couldn’t dare to,
the fantasy that you wouldn’t care to.
I’m the Evil your gateway of pain,
with me your world ain’t the same again.

I’m the fear that gives you creeps,
the excuse that lies within you deep.
I’m the love that you cherished for long,
the hate that your heart blooms on…

Here’s me the one more you
and its your turn to bid adieu.
For its the time before your nubility,
that brings me on to you…

I’m the pain that’s in your pleas,
and the screams that are in your dreams.
I’m the evil the end of your game,
with me your world won`t be the same.

I’m the prince of forbidden land,
and the song of a tormented band.
I’m the harlot that is so unclean,
and the look that`s telling I`m so mean.

I’m the fantasy that you wouldn’t care to,
the dream that you couldn’t dare to.
I’m the EVIL your source of pain,
and I’ll be the end of your game!!!!

(….end with evil laugh…)

Doomed

a poem by Abhishek Chauhan

I chase all my pensive dreams ’cause,
reality is way to far away.
They’ll change our sun to moon,
Welcome to this place of doom.
Can’t tell the way your soul will move,
‘cause in hell its all the same.
They blew out the life in me,
their answer seems to be clear.

You’re doomed the minute your spaceship blows,
and your cries are heard by some friendly foes,
You tried with all your strength to hold,
and you still wonder who they’d take away.
The logic is which way to go,
but fate was never in your place.
The key in my hand holds a secret,
but I don’t know which way to go.
And as the dead rise over again,
I wonder if you will ever survive!

I run away form the fantasy,
like I never did before.
‘cause I know they’ll come again,
once the light will fade to shine.
And so when I step outside,
the spaceship blows apart.
Then I stare at the hanging key,
with the answer really clear.

The key in my hand holds a secret,
but I don’t know which way to go,
and as the dead rise over again,
I wonder if I’ll ever survive.

And then I wonder,
spirits they seek.
Closing on at me,
I gasp for my last breath.
I pray for a streak of light,
but all I get is black rain.
My eyes won’t close with ease,
as the last light fades away.
I’m frozen to my very bone,
with the devil staring right at me.
And then I curse myself for coming along,
in this ship meant for doom…

You’re doomed the minute your spaceship blows,
and your cries are heard by some friendly foes.
You tried with all your strength to hold.
And you wonder who they’d take away.
The logic tells me to run away,
but fate was never in my place.
The key in my hand holds a secret,
but I still don’t know what to do.
And as the dead rise over again,
I wonder if I’ll ever survive!
Then I curse myself for coming along
in this spaceship meant for doom!!

deus ex machina

a poem by Abhishek Chauhan

The night is dark ’n its half past 12,
fear’s lurking at the corner’s bend.
You’ll feel the pain in your dying heart,
still waiting for his lethal next attack.

Your time’s out, you’ve got your breeding,
cause the creatures here are god damn greedy.
They’ll rip your flesh, they’ll take your soul,
and drag you back into the black hole.

Now they won’t give any reasons,
cause they are here to stay,
so don’t come in the way,
of their playful human sacrifice.
The Demon’s now free
and you won’t disagree
for its not your soul anymore.
Hail this devil!!
and he’ll be your friend,
or you won’t see the sun anymore…

Then you try to wish this night away,
with all your strength you’ll pray for new day,
and you can swear by your mama’s name,
that the creature’s not one of your tames.

The fear’s evident in your f** 2 eyes,
you scream your lungs out,
no one hears your cry,
and then you look at your detritus soul
still believing you’ll come outta the cold.

Now they won’t give any reasons,
cause they are here to stay,
so don’t come in their way
of their playful human sacrifice.
The Demon’s now free
and you won’t disagree
for its not your soul anymore.
Hail this devil!!!
and he’ll be your friend
or you won’t see the sun anymore…
